Joseph Dangerfield

composer, theorist, conductor, pianist

Robert Satterlee will perform Remnants on the BGSU New Music and Art Festival in Oct., and Saori Haji will perform the work in Japan later this fall.

My new work Il Muro, Il Lupo, e La Croce, will be performed on tour this fall throughout the Southwest by Ann DuHamel (piano), Yasmin Flores (clarinet), and Stephen Fine (viola). The work is my first experiment utilizing my research of light spectra, and was completed while on a Center for European Studies Grant in Rome, Italy.

I am also writing a new work for trumpet and piano, to be premiered next Spring with Randy Lee. We will also premiere new works by Paul Richards, and James Paul Sain.

Finally, my trio, the Leviathan Trio (with Lindsey Goodman, and Hannah Pressley, cello), will perform my new work and a new work by composer Luke Dahn, on a tour of the Southwest. More details coming soon!
